Foraging

Foraging and feasting is one of my favourite ways to explore our local landscapes. Foraging will have you staring into hedges for far longer than you ever thought possible and loving every moment of it. There is nothing more blissful than filling up your basket with free, organic and local produce you have identified yourself. On my foraging courses you will learn to identify a range of seasonal plants and how to use them. We may make flower cakes, herbal teas and tasty curries. The possibilities are endless and each course will be adapted to the location and time of year. Keep an eye on the events page for upcoming group foraging walks.

Bookings
I am now taking bookings for 1:1 and private group beginner foraging walks. These walks can take place in a few locations in and around the Buckfastleigh and South Devon area. If you have a favourite walk and you would like to know what edible plants you are passing by this can also be arranged. We will learn about a range of easy to recognise edible plants and how they can be prepared and used as food and medicine. 1 hour walks cost £15- £20 on a sliding scale basis. Longer walks can also be arranged.
