My approach to Yoga is inspired by Womb Yoga, Holistic Hatha and Yoga Nidra. In my classes I blend these elements, also incorporating wisdom from the natural world such as expressions of the season. My yoga classes help support softening into ourselves and connecting with our own true nature in order to maximise joy and pleasure in our worlds off the Yoga mat.

I teach classes in the heart of Dartmoor, including Ashburton and Buckfastleigh and also run occasional retreat days in the Forest of Dean.

Bookings

I am currently taking bookings for 1:1 sessions, where I tailor yoga classes to support your cycle specifically. I will recommend practices that suit you throughout the month and share ways to connect with your cyclical wisdom and awareness. We can also work with the moon cycle if your postmenopausal or your cycle is not regular. Classes will take place in the comfort of your home (or mine if you prefer). I will bring herbal tea designed to support womb health and ensure we end each session in a personalised, nourishing Yoga Nidra.

1:1 Bookings cost £20 per hour. Email me to book a class or free consultation to discuss what your 1:1 session could involve.

Testimonials

  • “I am still smiling, yesterday was just what I needed  thank you so much. The company, wonderful experiences and that yummy delicious food all set in the magical setting. Just perfect.”

  • “Thank you for your lovely classes - they certainly gave me a little boost, and a nudge back towards my mat. I particularly enjoyed the womb yoga flows & hearing about the connection of moon/ season/ menstrual cycles”

  • “I always love trying different yoga styles and different yoga teachers and your yoga was really special. What I loved the most was your combination of breathing exercises (including those I don’t practice regularly), yoga that was both gentle and challenging, yoga nidra and sound healing. The essential oils at the beginning, and the yogi teas at the end were also a lovely touch. Your yoga focused on honouring my womb, and the natural menstrual cycles, whilst linking that cycle to the natural cycles in nature, and it felt lovely to do that.”

  • “Today was just what we needed. We had the best time, it was so relaxing and made me want to do yoga more”

  • “I really enjoy yoga classes with Alaska. It feels so much more than yoga as she is teaching about the seasons, and other astrological events. It's a very connecting class, and they have certainly helped me with feeling more in tune with my body, womb and creative self. As a new person to the area, it's lovely to be greeted with a friendly and comforting being. I feel held & uplifted during the classes and I'm excited to continue these wonderful lessons!”

  • “Thanks so much for running these beautiful classes”
